How you’ll change it up
As our Head of IT Management & Control, your key focus will be to ensure that CityFibre’s IT organisation is ‘doing things right’, and with performance management and reporting at its core, you’ll ensure that the right management and control capabilities are in place around IT commercial, financial and resource management. Working closely with the IT and business leadership teams, you’ll also provide broad insight into the IT divisions performance against objectives and their contribution to overall business performance. Day to day, this is some of what you can expect to be doing:
- Ensuring the highest standards in management & control can be achieved with IT services and their technology partners
- Driving focus and prioritisation within the IT division by establishing a management and control framework, with an initial focus on performance, commercial and financial management
- Overseeing the development and maintenance of IT metrics and reporting processes and artefacts
- Identifying, highlighting and championing enterprise-level continuous improvement opportunities
What you’ll bring to the role
You’ll have extensive experience operating at a senior level within IT or business, as well as the ability to independently take on challenges and find appropriate solutions in a fast-paced and agile environment. We’re also looking for you to bring the following with you to the role:
- Expertise in wide range of aspects of management and control, including commercial, budgetary, financial and resource management
- Proven ability to influence improved operational efficiency, service delivery and information management across the IT organisation
- A strategic mindset, whilst still being able to react in an adaptive way
- Strong leadership capability
- Excellent relationship building and communication skills
