This is a hybrid role which will require you to work at least 2 days per week from your local office, and there may be occasional travel to other offices needed.

How you’ll change it up

You’ll be joining our dynamic CTIO division, managing the relationship between IT and the wider business to align plans, inter-dependencies, and strategic direction, ensuring that our overall plan for IT is connected and optimised. You’ll act as the primary interface and escalation point into IT, quickly establishing yourself as a trusted partner and member of the strategic portfolio management team. Day to day, this is some of what you can expect to be doing:

  • Creating and leading a matrix team focused on supporting a specific IT portfolio that’s aligned to the business value chain activity
  • Creating and facilitating multi-horizon roadmaps and associated plans that deliver technology capabilities in the short, medium, and long term
  • Effectively collect, articulate, and address requirements, benefits, risks, issues and dependencies into your portfolio – identifying ways to unlock issues
  • Facilitating the navigation of relevant IT governance processes, including compliance and statutory requirements

What you’ll bring to the role

You’ll already have some of the skills which make up a great IT Business Partner, like being a proactive self-manager with the ability to take on challenges and find solutions, but there are a few other core areas of experience you’ll bring with you too:

  • Demonstrated expertise across diverse functions and capabilities, including strategy, architecture, delivery, and operations.
  • Possesses strong business, commercial, and financial acumen
  • Skilled in achieving objectives through influence within a matrixed environment
