Cost Recovery Claims Handler
You’ll mainly work from home, with occasional visits to your local office.
Our goal at CityFibre is to unlock the digital potential of Britain by creating a broadband network that works seamlessly for everyone, every day. Powerful, gigabit-speed connections that enable people across entire communities to enjoy life in full flow. To do this, we make sure that our people’s voices are heard, their ideas are welcomed, and everyone is given the opportunity to make a real impact.
We’re a Times Top 50 Employer for Gender Equality; are endorsed by WORK180; have pledged our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant; and are a Disability Confident Employer. Working together with our Employee Networks, we’re committed to changing the industry for everyone.
What you can expect from us
Everyone at CityFibre has an important part to play, and we reflect that in our benefits. With a competitive salary of up to £37,000 depending on experience, when you join us, you’ll also enjoy 25 days’ holiday, a day off on your birthday, a day off to support a charity or organisation of your choice, a performance-related bonus scheme, and private healthcare.
How you’ll change it up
You’ll be joining us to support the cost recovery team with claims and data handling. By reviewing and investigating claim opportunities, you’ll allow for a higher volume of claims processing and ultimately help increase our likelihood of successful outcomes. Day to day, this is some of what you can expect to be doing:
- Monitoring and triaging emails, recording all claims opportunities received depending on the likelihood of their recovery opportunity and workstream
- Contacting, investigating, and liaising with relevant internal and external parties to gather relevant information
- Completing investigations and data interrogations using ServiceNow, Salesforce, Depotnet and external data sources
- Providing and monitoring reporting metrics for workstreams and internal reporting
- Taking responsibility for the blockages process related to recoveries
What you’ll bring to the role
You’ll already have a background in cost recovery and claims, which alongside your strong relationship building and investigation skills will help you to champion our mission of maximising revenue opportunities and successful recovery. You’ll also have the following:
- Good presentation skills and the ability to tailor your approach to varying audiences
- Working knowledge of key service management processes
- A driven mind-set with a strong focus on service and continuous improvement
- Negotiation skills
We’re looking for people who don’t settle for ‘good enough’ and push things forward. If you’ve just found yourself thinking, ‘I’d love to do this’, we want to hear from you. Let’s change it up.
