Joining us as a Hub Assurance Engineer
You’ll oversee fibre network builds to ensure they meet CityFibre specifications and timelines within assigned areas. You'll manage supply partner activities with strict compliance to safety, environmental, and legislative standards. A key part of the role involves maintaining a robust quality assurance framework, using your technical expertise in civils and fibre, you'll mentor supply partners to continuously improve performance.

This is some of what you can expect to be doing:
- Ensure Supply Partners comply with CityFibre specifications and deliver high-quality builds
- Own and execute witness tests, walk offs, joint measures, and defect checks in line with build schedules
- Monitor Progressive Assurance Audits and manage inspections using Depotnet
- Proactively resolve design and engineering challenges across planning and construction stages
- Utilise workflow systems like Depotnet to track delivery milestones and manage build processes
- Represent CityFibre professionally with external parties, resolving construction-related issues and negotiating risk-mitigating outcomes
What you’ll bring to the role
In addition to a solid knowledge of Fibre and Civils, you’ll also have:
- Outside Plant (OSP) Telecoms Network Build experience
- Understanding of civils construction, cabling, splicing and OTDR / ILM testing
- Blown & Traditional Cable installation techniques
- Demonstrable understanding of method statements and risk assessments
- Awareness of CDM Regulations
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Project
