About the role
In this role you will support the Micro Space & Process Manager and work closely with the Merchandise teams across all categories.
As a Space Planner you will partner closely with category managers to deliver a customer focused range in our stores, support the range review process and provide supporting data and information to aid in decision making.
You’ll also:
- Develop and maintain planograms for stores ensuring space optimisation and that products are merchandised in a consistent and logical flow that is easy to navigate for customers
- Support the category teams to determine the appropriate distribution for new products and deletions
- Identify process improvement opportunities and develop supporting tools to deliver improvements in micro space planning and return on space
- Ensure adherence to CLG Safety standards
About you and your skills
You will have previous experience in range and space within a fast-paced Retail / FMCG environment.
You’ll also need:
- Experience working with customer and market insights
- Prior experience of assortment planning and planogram development
- Understanding of both the theory and practical issues associated with range reviews
- Strong capacity to communicate and influence effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders at multiple levels
- Problem solving, analytical and numeracy skills
- A genuine passion for retail and a genuine desire to see your work come to life for our customers in stores
- Technical skills and demonstrated experience in using Space Planning software
