As a Senior Project Engineer, you will leverage your extensive knowledge of professional practices and project management to plan, monitor, and control various project aspects, including scope, budget, and time. You will support the Project Manager or Senior Project Manager and the team to ensure project requirements are met on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure all actions comply with CSL’s Code of Responsible Business Practice, Quality Manual, GMP, and Health, Safety & Environment Management System.
Manage project tasks to create a safe, healthy, and secure workplace.
Lead small to medium-sized projects, develop technical designs, and prepare specifications and documentation for tenders and contracts.
Undertake commissioning and qualification activities, reporting any deviations.
Prepare and seek approval for Capital Expenditure Proposals, raise and administer purchase orders, and maintain configuration management systems.
Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to aid in project delivery.
Ensure project tasks are completed to scope, within budget, and on time, achieving zero harm and meeting cash flow requirements.
Qualifications & Experience:
Tertiary qualifications in engineering or science.
Understanding of technical development concepts, tools, and technologies, with strong problem-solving skills in design, testing, and deployment.
Project management experience and process/engineering systems experience in the GxP industry.
Broad understanding of project management principles, quality management systems, risk management methodologies, and contract management.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Advanced skills in MS-Project, MS-Excel, MS-Word, MS-PowerPoint, MS-Visio, and MS-Outlook.
Application of GxP principles.
General working hours are from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional extended hours, evening, or weekend work to meet project priorities.
The role involves time spent in the office and on-site within production or service plants, supervising contractors, performing commissioning activities, and conducting technical reviews.
