Our Social Infrastructure & Citizen Services team has an opportunity for a Loading Dock, Waste Coordinator and Security Guard to join the Melbourne Connect team, located in Carlton, VIC. The role is physically demanding and requires constant standing, walking and the use of stairs and ramps. The role is a permanent full-time position, Monday to Friday, 7am – 3pm.
We are looking for someone who demonstrates strong communication skills, a hands-on attitude, has previous loading dock, car park and delivery station experience. Key responsibilities of the role are to provide comprehensive waste management services to support the precinct in its day-to-day waste management requirements and assist in the provision of Security Services to ensure a safe and secure environment.
ABOUT YOU
- Previous loading dock, car park, delivery station experience
- Previous Traffic Management experience
- Delivery and courier experience
- Security officer and commercial cleaning experience is desirable
- Safety awareness and ability to adhere to all safety instructions, policies, and procedures.
- Experience in understanding of WHS obligations and PPE requirements
Please note, as a prerequisite for this role candidates will be required to complete workrights check, pre-employment medical check, Working with Children Check, AFP National Police History certificate, reference checks, first aid certification & security licence.
