Reporting to the Commercial Business Partner this role will form part of a team of Management Accountants supporting finance and commercial stakeholders and it is therefore essential the candidate has experience in a finance environment handling a high volume of complex data, as well as being able to build relationships across the finance team and the wider business.
This role will become important member of the finance team going forward as the team seeks to grow its reputation as a key partner to commercial teams across the Airport.

- Delivery of the month end process including, but not restricted to, preparation and review of journals, preparation of management accounts together with variance analysis against budget and forecast
- Ownership of the balance sheet reconciliations for the business partnering team
- Utilising the insights from monthly variance analysis to prepare rolling forecasts for the Commercial departments
- Detailed investigation of month end variances through collection and analysis of data from business objects, NetSuite and other data sources across the airport
- Contribute to analysis activity as required by the Business Partnering team to provide financial modelling that supports and challenges key business strategies and decisions
- Liaising with external auditors to ensure completion of the annual audit
- Support the planning and execution of annual budget and reforecasts processes
- Monitoring the monthly financial performance of the business through attending weekly business performance meetings
To apply for this role, you'll need:
- Recently or Part Qualified Accountant (e.g. CA, ACCA, CIMA), but consideration will also be given to candidates qualified by experience, with a preference of experience in a commercial environment
- Excellent IT skills including MS Office and a good working knowledge of accounting systems in a large organisation
- Ability to analyse diverse financial data and produce concise analysis and recommendations
- Experience in management reporting, planning and budgeting skills
