About the role
Reporting to the Mechanical Supervisor, the role will involve safely performing work to ensure the reliability & availability of the plant equipment. The primary purpose of this role is the day-to-day Operation & Maintenance of the UG Fixed Plant. Workers will be required to work in all sections of the plant always work in safe manner, with a high standard of workmanship. The role will also support periodic plant shutdowns as determined by the maintenance program
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting - Asset Management Policy & Standards, Asset Management Plan, Work Management Process
- Ensuring good quality work is achieved to enable maintenance KPI targets to be met or exceeded
- Keeping accurate records of work required/done on all work orders
- Gaining technical knowledge to apply potential asset/maintenance improvements
- Follow correct procedures for costing of all items and contributing to maintaining within existing budget
- Identifying risks/hazards and applying effective controls via use of PTRA’s, JSEA’s or formal Risk Assessments
- Carrying out regular assurance interactions and inspections
- Ensuring all works are compliant with current Mines Act/Regulations, appropriate Australian, International and EHO Site Standards/Documents
- Completing S1, S2, S3 before hosting Contractors
