Make a difference every day.

At FM Conway, our CCTV Rig Leaders play a vital role in protecting communities and keeping the UK's essential infrastructure running safely and efficiently.

We're looking for an experienced and motivated CCTV Rig Leader to join our growing Water and Drainage Management team. Leading a two-person crew, you'll use state of the art CCTV surveying equipment to investigate drainage networks, identify defects and deliver high-quality surveys and reports.

No two days are the same. Whether you're leading CCTV investigations, managing site operations or working closely with our wider operational teams, you'll play a key role in ensuring our drainage services are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with drainage experience who is ready to take the lead, share their knowledge and develop their career with FM Conway.

As one of our CCTV Rig Leaders, you will:

  • Lead and coordinate daily CCTV drainage operations, ensuring surveys are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Carry out CCTV surveys of drainage networks, identifying defects, blockages and potential issues.
  • Analyse survey findings and produce accurate, high-quality reports in line with client requirements.
  • Supervise and support your crew, ensuring work is delivered to the required standards.
  • Manage site activities, ensuring all health, safety and environmental procedures are followed.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with supervisors, management teams and clients.

You'll ideally have:

We're looking for someone with previous drainage experience who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in delivering a great service and has the confidence to lead and motivate a small team.

You'll hold a CSCS Card, OS19 Certificate and a full UK driving licence, alongside a strong understanding of CCTV drainage surveying and reporting.

You'll be organised, safety-conscious and comfortable working independently, with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

Additional qualifications such as First Aid, Confined Space, NADC or WRC Sewer Condition certification and Streetworks would be beneficial.

Most importantly, you'll bring a positive attitude, strong leadership skills and a commitment to delivering quality work.

Why join FM Conway?

At FM Conway, you're not just joining a company – you're joining a business built around its people.

We invest in our colleagues, celebrate success and provide opportunities to develop new skills and progress your career. Whether you're looking to build specialist knowledge within water and drainage or take the next step into a wider operational or supervisory role, we'll support you every step of the way.

Alongside a competitive salary, you'll receive:

  • 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
  • Company pension.
  • Life assurance.
  • Ongoing training and career development.
  • Internal progression opportunities.
  • Shopping discounts through our Rewarding Great People platform.
  • Health and wellbeing support, including 24-hour advice lines and access to our Mental Health First Aiders.

Our Water and Drainage Management Division is one of the fastest-growing areas of FM Conway. Working with one of the UK's largest specialist fleets, we deliver innovative drainage maintenance, surveying and rehabilitation services that help keep our roads, communities and environment moving.

If you're looking for a role where you can take the lead, make a real difference and continue developing your career, we'd love to hear from you.

Join our family. Build your future. Make a difference.

FM Conway is an award-winning equal opportunities employer. We recognise that our workforce should reflect our diverse communities and we are proudly committed to creating an inclusive culture in which we celebrate and value individuals from all walks of life. EDI-Strategy

At our heart we are a business that recognises and embraces individuality, so if you are excited about this role but you are unsure if you meet all of the criteria, we encourage you to apply anyway as you may still be the right candidate for this or another role we are recruiting for.

We look forward to receiving your application!
