Role Profile
Job Title: Purchasing Administrator
Reports to: Reporting Analyst
Operating Company: MCB
Key Stakeholders: Procurement, Finance, Freightliner UK Staff, Suppliers
Purpose of the Role:
To support the business’s purchasing function & AP with their reporting and compliance needs.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Review purchase requisitions in line with preferred supplier list and verified Chart of Accounts before converting to purchase orders
Amend, update and correct purchase orders as required by business request
Complete Supplier new vendor forms as required
Maintain Fuel Tracker and Fuel Price reporting
End to end ownership and management of business wide SOx control narratives & reporting
Ensure compliance to SOx and any other local requirements in support of the policies and objectives of G&W
Update and expand upon the Accounts Payable Fixed Commitment Schedule, liaising with Financial Controllers and Finance Business Partners to keep this tool maintained
Collaborate in the E-Procurement delivery, ensuring SLA achieved for conversion of PR’s to PO’s
Engage with the Business Services department to enable the SSC’s and wider businesses finance reporting needs
Collaborate with assigned team members in such a way that they engage with stakeholders in an effective way offering e-procurement expertise and delivering an outstanding level of customer service
