As part of our continued development, we are looking to appoint a Sales Manager on a full-time, permanent basis. This role can be based anywhere in the Midlands or South of England.
What does the job involve?
- A mix of account management/maximisation and new business development
- Identifying and actioning sales opportunities - increasing market share and revenue
- Liaising with existing customers and internal teams to ensure customer fulfilment is achieved
- Ensuring sales and revenue targets are delivered
- Track and report on sales pipelines and opportunities
- Seeking out new sales opportunities from prospect customers and converting these to accounts
What skills or experience do I need to do the job?
- Previous field sales experience in freight, shipping or haulage
- Confidence to develop new business – being comfortable approaching potential customers
- Great communications skills – able to flex your style to the audience
- Demonstrating a pro-active approach to work – able to provide solutions to problems
- Good Excel skills – able to interpret and analyse data effectively
- Have a strong customer service focus – with a professional outlook
