Purpose of the Role:
Responsible for,
Managing a multi-channelled digital strategy for Freightliner Groups – Pentalver Container Sales & Conversions division. This role will be responsible for elevating the brand and its key messages across target markets. Drive an ‘always on’ digital marketing and lead generation activity to increase visibility and engagement across all prospective sales markets.
- Manage the website for Container Sales, Container Conversions and ensure full SEO optimisation, content is kept up to date and user journey is optimised.
- Manage a timely and relevant Social Media plan, which is aligned with the overall Marketing plan and key messages for Container Sales and Container Conversions
- Manage all Lead Generation activity covering SEO, PPC and Email marketing for all Container Sales and Container Conversions and Freightliner
Provide support to the Digital Marketing Manager in delivering the Freightliner Groups marketing strategy covering Freightliner UK and other European entities where required.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Website management
- Full management of the Container Sales e-commerce and CFS websites including,
- Price benchmarking and price changes/updates
- Onsite SEO strategy definition and execution
- Supplier management of website development and continual updates
- Develop a website traffic plan, with defined target goals and benchmarks
- Define and drive the Container Conversions website strategy including,
- Define and drive overall development strategy
- Develop a website traffic plan, with defined target goals and benchmarks
- Define a clear SEO and content strategy plan and ensure an accurate and timely execution.
- Support the Digital Marketing Manage to execute the Freightliner website strategy.
Social Media
- Responsible for planning and managing the social media plan for Container Sales and Container Conversions
- Support the Digital Marketing Manager with content creation, execution and tracking of the Freightliner Social Media accounts, including sharing of best practice across the Freightliner Group.
Lead Generation
- Responsible for defining individual lead generation plans covering, PPC, SEO and Email-campaigns for Container Sales and Container Conversions
- Manage and execute email-marketing campaigns, to clear target markets and customers
- Work with the Container Sales and Conversion sales team to implement a clear lead tracking system to understand ROI
- Implement a clear KPI and tracking reporting for presentation at regular performance review meetings with the Container Sales and Conversion management teams.
- Support the Digital Marketing Manager to implement the SEO strategy for Freightliner, covering PPC and lead generation.
External Communication & Events
- Responsible for defining, executing and measuring the benefits of an external marketing plan for Container Sales and Conversions, covering all channels, including,
- PR
- Advertising
- Editorial
- External Events
- Digital marketing (elements covered above)
KPIs
- Define and manage all Container Sales and Conversions KPI’s covering all Digital and external communications and event activities. Provide separate monthly report on all activity with clearly defined KPIs.
- Present plans, activities, and results at a regular performance review meeting with the Container Sales and Conversions management team.
This role will require a close collaboration with the Container Sales and Conversion team and will therefore require some regular time/travel down to Southampton.

Personal Specification:
Essential
- Degree in Marketing (or similar).
- Experience in managing PPC, SEO, Social Media and affiliate programmes.
- Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategies, and best practices.
- Experience in E-commerce and Email marketing.
- Experience maintaining and optimising websites.
- Previous experience in a similar role.

- Qualified member of CIM (or equivalent).
- Project management experience.
- Experience in using Adobe creative cloud software.
- Experience building creative content and visuals.
- Experience taking and editing video content
