We have an excellent opportunity within our Train Service Delivery Team in Romford ROC, for a Customer Information Controller.
The Role
Based in the Anglia Integrated Control Centre near Romford Station, you will manage the provision of customer information during disruption for the Greater Anglia network, providing both customers and colleagues with accurate and speedy information updates.
In this role, you will ensure messages which tell the story of the incident are sent out on a regular basis. You will also be liaising with colleagues in the Anglia Integrated Control Centre, including Network Rail, other Train Operating Companies and the Social Media Team.
The successful candidate will work as part of a 7-day roster with a mix of Monday to Sunday early / late / night shifts.
What we are looking for
We are looking for a colleague who is flexible (in their working hours) with previous exposure to working under pressure. You will be a well organised person, with the ability to prioritise your workload. You should be able to demonstrate effective levels of customer service and written communication skills as well as a good standard of general education.
Due to the number of the different IT systems, you will be working with, you must be IT-literate. Understanding the requirements of customer information during disruption is needed.
