We are currently forward planning for future roles that may become available as a Platform Host (Train Dispatcher). If you are successful in your application, you will be placed in our Talent Bank for up to six months. If a suitable opportunity becomes available during that time, you may be offered a role.
Positions may be available as Static or Relief roles, on either a full-time or part-time basis. Static roles offer a consistent shift pattern, giving you visibility of your shifts for the full year.Relief roles provide flexibility, with weekly rosters issued one week before the shift.
Please note that we are unable to accept your application if you do not meet the following criteria:
- You will be working an average of 35 hours per week. This role is shift-based and includes early starts, late finishes, night shifts, weekends, and bank holiday working. Earliest shift starts from 0530 and latest finish 2345. Nights can be between the hours of 2200 – 0700.
- You must be able to arrange your own transport to ensure timely arrival for early and late shifts.
- Applicants must be over 18 years of age
- This role includes a compulsory 5-day Dispatch training course at our Stratford Academy, followed by a final assessment.
- Employment is subject to satisfactory Right to Work checks, a DBS check, and a safety‑critical medical assessment.
- Salary: £29,771 per annum
