A great opportunity has arisen to recruit a Network Response Manager based at London Blackfriars to St Pancras with travel as required

Some of the responsibilities for this role include:-

Responsibilities

  • Respond to incidents as directed by the Network Operations Management team.
  • Actively monitor the effects of all incidents that disrupt the normal operation of the train service, proactively respond to station incidents to minimise the impact of disruption on customers and colleagues.
  • Provide ‘on the ground' representation for Network Operations, feeding back relevant information to Three Bridges ROC to enable more suitable train service decisions to be made.
  • Work closely with Network Rail teams at an incident, acting as Train Operations Liaison Officer as required.
  • Using training given, provide first response to medical incidents that disrupt the railway, working with GTR colleagues and the London Ambulance Service to bring an end to the incident as quickly and safely as possible.
  • Where necessary, act as representation for GTR to reassure passengers of the chosen course of action.
  • During times of normal running, provide Network Operations interface to stations within a given patrol area, giving Customer Service support where required.
  • Organise and chair post incidents reviews at a local level, preparing information to be fed into the main Network Operations post incident review.
  • Collate, suggest and implement suggestion for improvement following a post incident review.
  • Work with stations teams during times of disruption to provide them with the most effective level and type of support.
