We are recruiting for future opportunities as Depot Operations Controller Mobile based at Bedford Cauldwell Depot. As a DOC Mobile you will ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Depot and sidings, organizing the punctual delivery of the right units.
- You will be responsible for the safe movement of rolling stock within Bedford Cauldwell
- Responsible for driving and shunting rolling stock
- Carrying out train preparation duties
- Responsible for reporting defects to trains, depot track or equipment and facilities encountered during the course of work.
You should possess or demonstrate the following:
- Excellent communication skills both orally and in writing
- You will have strong skills in planning and co-ordinating, as you will be responsible effectively controlling what moves, when it moves and where to.
- Must be able to remain calm and focused under pressure
- Must be able to maintain absolute attention and concentration each and every second of your shift
- Ability to coach others around their performance
