Job Purpose
Based in one of our modern maintenance facilities, you'll manage our rolling stock production and maintenance activities. Safety and efficiency are crucial: you'll make sure all our staff are deployed effectively and are following Health & Safety rules and regulations, Railway Group Standards and company policies and procedures. You'll develop work plans to ensure daily production targets are met and you'll be proactive in identifying areas for continuous improvement.

Additionally, you'll ensure staff under your control are trained and developed in accordance with company policies and standards. We expect you to have first-rate people management experience but also excellent interpersonal skills with an innate ability to build constructive relationships with people at all levels.
