Selhurst deport is currently recruiting for UAT Operator, you will be responsible for providing an NDT service for the Engineering Depot to the required standards and specifications.
Key results area:
- Carry out Ultrasonic testing of the axles at the Engineering Depots and other locations as required.
- Responsible for carrying out other forms of NDT at the engineering depots and other locations as required.
- Responsible for ensuring all equipment used is suitable for purpose, in date calibration and available when required.
- Responsible for ensuring that all personal competency certification remains in date.
- Responsible for ensuring that all documentation is upto date for UAT and is available on depot and other locations as required.
- Responsible for ensuring that all components are fit for service following the completion of the NDT/UAT processes.
- Responsible for the input of all details associated with NDT/UAT into the appropriate system.
- Carry out general duties as required.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years depot experience.
- DPTS Required Skills: Knowledge of rolling stock
