Do you have a passion for customer service?
Do you enjoy helping people?

As a Station Assistant, you will be passionate about delivering outstanding customer service each and every time. You will often be the first point of contact our customers encounter on their journey, making this a vital role in creating a positive and welcoming station experience.

Due to shift times, you must live in the local area and have access to independent transport to ensure you can arrive for early shifts, as there may not always be a train service available.

All station-based roles may involve standing for long periods and working shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.

As a Station Assistant, you must demonstrate a ‘can-do' attitude, strong customer focus, and excellent communication skills, always keeping the customer at the forefront. Working on a shift basis, including weekends, your day-to-day duties will include proactively assisting customers, helping them with journey information, and ensuring they receive the right support throughout their time at the station.

You will use the latest computer-based systems to provide customers with accurate information and access relevant internal systems. You will also be responsible for assisting customers around the station where required.
