Role Purpose

• Global Banking is a division of Global Banking and Markets, with responsibility for managing relationships with c.3000 of HSBC’s largest corporate and financial institutional clients. It currently has c.3,500 employees across 50 sites globally. GB is primarily responsible for providing investment banking, lending and capital markets products to clients across the Group.

Overview:

• Senior Project Manager within the Omnia programme; a key strategic initiative, delivering a singular golden source of client returns information to facilitate improved client and capital decision making.
• The role will act as workstream lead for MSS Onboarding within the Omnia platform; establishing a single point of RM and Product Sales access for Site Customer and Site Product level information, informing greater collaboration and accountability.
• Key responsibilities include:
• End to end to delivery lead for MSS Onboarding workstream, with global reach across GBM and CMB
• Ensuring that all key stakeholders and business areas are appropriately considered and engaged from requirements gathering to design and implementation
• Supporting the Global Banking Management Office in driving the client returns information agenda

Key Accountabilities

• Implementation of MSS Onboarding capability in Omnia, contributing to business objectives; to include demise of HSS client profitability reporting, GM Sales Onboarding and MI360 Onboarding of 4 sites
• Detailed requirements gathering, ensuring Front Line needs are appropriately met be the capability
• Design and technical delivery of MSS Onboarding capability, alongside GBM IT, Big Data and Dashboard Teams, including programme sequencing and resource allocation
• Establish and manage workstream governance structures and forums
• Workstream reporting and MI within Omnia programme and to wider business stakeholders as required
• Effective management of workstream RAID; clear articulation of relevant items within Omnia programme and to wider business stakeholders as required
• Develop detailed understanding of key stakeholder matrix across MSS, GBM and CMB; own stakeholder management and user engagement for the workstream
• SME input on MSS Onboarding to inform programme level decisioning and business strategy
