We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our team as Regulatory Data Service Product Owner, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.
Wholesale Client Services brings together client onboarding functions to operate as one single organisation with a view to provide full E2E client onboarding and client service support covering the entire client lifecycle for all product areas across the Wholesale Bank globally. This organisation brings together Client Lifecycle Management, Client Onboarding, Credit Analysis, Regulatory Business Support and Exits teams under a single unit. The Wholesale Client Services Teams work closely with both the RMs and other key functions/product areas to ensure the operational management of client lifecycle events is independently managed with all the downstream functions while meeting the required client due diligence, global standards and regulatory requirements. This will be achieved through strong discipline on costs, operational risk & control management and strong client and service orientation.
The Regulatory Business Support (RBS) team offers client and business support for all regulations on behalf the Wholesale Bank including client outreach, implementing new processes, ongoing assurance and owning accurate regulatory classifications. The strategic system/product for RBS is the Regulatory Data Service (RDS) and there is a multi-year transformation programme to build out this platform as part of the wider Wholesale Client Services digital strategy.
The Regulatory Data Service (RDS) Product Owner is externally focused and defines long term vision, strategy and roadmap for the product and gathers voice of the customer and communicates it clearly to the product teams.
In this role, you will:
- Set strategy for RDS product; short, mid and long term outputs
- Be responsible to manage and prioritise new requests for functionality / enhancements against business need
- Manage stakeholder engagement regarding product – promote product / communicate and gain feedback re product functionality
- Work in alignment to delivery PM to ensure business outputs are achieved within agreed timeframes
- Oversee and manage the RDS product support of the live product
- Oversee and functionally manage the regulatory specific product owners, ensuring best practice and common standards
- Act as business and escalation contact for RDS related matters, drive resolution of issues
