Salary: Up to of £47,274 per annum including roster premium and enhancements, depending on experience.
An opportunity has arisen to recruit a Shift Maintenance Engineer within the Engineering Department to carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance in the servicing and repair of the HGV, commercial vehicles and forklift truck fleet.

Key Requirements
The suitable applicant should meet the following criteria as a minimum:
- Minimum Level 3 Qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, etc) or ONC in Mechanical Engineering or Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
- Driving and plant and equipment licences required
- Full UK Driving License
- Holding a relevant vehicle electrical qualification will be a distinct advantage
- Successful applicants will be required to attain a NVQ Level 2 in Electrical Maintenance

- Experience of heavy plant and machinery in a heavy industrial environment
- Must be willing to multi-skill in mechanical and electrical engineering
- Self-motivation and the ability to work unsupervised
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Enthusiasm and flexibility in all tasks undertaken
- The ability to analyse and diagnose complex faults from limited data and history
- Be able to organise work effectively and complete in the required time frame
The position will involve shift working, including weekends and on call. Applicants should be able to work at height.
Applicants must be aged 18 or over and hold a full driving licence valid in the UK.
