We’re looking for a Customer Solutions Design Consultant to join our APAC Customer team. This is a highly consultative role where you’ll work closely with clients and internal teams to design, shape and deliver solution outcomes that maximise value, leveraging deep product expertise and industry knowledge.

Some of the amazing things you’ll be involved in

  • Partnering with Commercial, Product and Support teams to design solutions that go beyond single-product use cases

  • Supporting early-stage opportunities by working alongside Sales and Account Managers to validate solution feasibility

  • Building strong client relationships to understand, shape and define business needs and desired outcomes

  • Leading solution design discussions using user story mapping, iterative design techniques and best-practice approaches

  • Translating client requirements into scalable, repeatable solution designs aligned to existing product and integration capabilities

  • Ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams by creating a shared understanding of client goals and solution vision

  • Documenting scope, managing changes and ensuring designs can be effectively delivered by implementation teams

  • Acting as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, providing insight into industry trends, best practice and solution value

  • Developing prototypes and contributing to configuration and testing activities to bring solutions to life

  • Leveraging your expertise to continuously uplift and scale the client experience across Iress

What you will bring

  • A strong consulting presence with exceptional communication skills, able to influence and build trust at all levels

  • Proven ability to elicit, define and translate client requirements into clear user journeys and incremental delivery milestones

  • Deep expertise in Xplan, with broader knowledge of the Iress product suite highly regarded

  • Strong understanding of client markets, business models and commercial drivers within financial services

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to articulate complex challenges and align them to solution outcomes

  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams, prioritising effectively in a fast-paced, client-facing environment

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to synthesise and interpret complex information from multiple sources

  • Experience working in agile environments and familiarity with tools such as Jira (preferred)

  • A creative mindset, with the ability to shape innovative yet practical solutions

Why work with us?

  • 8 additional paid days per year to extend your weekends

  • Hybrid working

  • Generous cash bonus for every successful referral

  • Starting school leave - 8.5 days of leave to assist your children with the transition to school

  • Up to 26 weeks’ paid parental leave for primary carers (up to 4 weeks for secondary carers), and the ability to work part-time when returning to work

  • 3 days’ paid leave per year to participate in charity initiatives

  • Discounted health insurance premiums

  • Access to learning and development programs through LinkedIn Learning
