You’ll help keep cash, collateral, and settlement activity running smoothly across products and time zones. You’ll partner closely with colleagues across operations and business stakeholders to resolve issues and improve processes. This is a strong opportunity to build core operations capabilities in a well-controlled environment.

As a Treasury Operations Analyst in the Futures and Options Treasury Operations team (Margin and Collateral), you will support daily funding, settlement, reconciliation, and issue-resolution activities to help ensure timely and accurate client and market obligations. You will work with global partners across multiple locations and collaborate with internal teams; such as the middle office and client service partners. You will contribute to a controlled operating environment by following procedures, escalating risks, and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Job responsibilities

  • Support the daily management and optimization of client cash and non-cash collateral movements
  • Ensure timely settlement of obligations with exchanges/central counterparties and clients
  • Manage the funding and monitoring of exchange accounts to help prevent shortfalls
  • Process foreign exchange transactions supporting client and operational needs
  • Perform reconciliations, investigate breaks, and drive timely resolution of discrepancies
  • Investigate counterparty and settlement issues and coordinate follow-ups to closure
  • Escalate significant issues, risks, and control concerns to management in a timely manner
  • Respond promptly to internal inquiries from middle office and client service partners
  • Support controlled operations by adhering to documented procedures and evidencing key actions
  • Contribute to reporting, operational investigations, and root cause analysis as needed
  • Identify and suggest process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and control

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Demonstrated proficiency with core productivity tools (email, spreadsheets, documents, and collaboration platforms)
  • Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail in processing and reconciliation activities
  • Ability to follow procedures, manage tasks, and meet deadlines in time-sensitive cycles
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to summarize issues and actions
  • Analytical approach to investigating breaks, identifying drivers, and supporting resolution
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build constructive working relationships
  • Ability to remain calm, focused, and accurate while working under pressure
  • Proactive mindset with willingness to raise risks and seek clarity when needed
  • Organized, methodical approach to tracking work and completing controls consistently
  • Ability to work independently with appropriate escalation and supervision

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Understanding of cash funding, global settlement flows, and reconciliations
  • Familiarity with futures, options, and/or over-the-counter derivatives operational concepts
  • Experience interacting with clients or internal stakeholders in time-sensitive situations
  • Exposure to process improvement and/or automation concepts and tools (for example, workflow or data-prep tools)
  • Developing experience using AI-powered analytics, workflow automation, or intelligent process tools to drive efficiency gains, reduce manual effort, or improve accuracy in operational processes.
