As a Vice President in Global Markets Sales Credit Risk Portfolio, you will be part of the first line of defense, assisting in the oversight, daily administration, and strategic vision of the client population as it relates to counterparty risk exposure. You’ll collaborate with Sales & Trading, Business Management, Credit Risk Management, and other teams to deliver a best-in-class client franchise. This role offers you the opportunity to grow your skills, contribute to risk management, and make a meaningful impact.


As a Vice President in Global Markets Sales Credit Risk Portfolio, you will support the global team in administering daily business activities, managing counterparty exposure, and ensuring deadlines are met. You’ll be responsible for portfolio management, adhering to established frameworks, monitoring and escalating material deviations, and supporting MI reporting and client restriction controls. You’ll interact regularly with multiple teams to achieve risk management goals and maintain a strong control mindset in a dynamic environment.

Job responsibilities

  • Support the global team in administering daily business activities related to markets counterparty exposure.
  • Manage assigned workload, draft team procedures, and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Adhere to established frameworks for exposure management, controls, and governance.
  • Monitor and escalate material deviations from the framework, including limit breaches and risk concentrations.
  • Support sustainable refresh models to keep client data up-to-date for ongoing risk monitoring.
  • Assist in the design, implementation, and support of MI reporting and updates to senior business heads and control forums.
  • Support governance and escalation of client restriction control monitoring.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience in financial services, focused on Credit/Market Risk Management or Sales & Trading.
  • Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Python, Alteryx, Tableau, LLM and similar applications.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Strong control mindset and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Results-driven, detail-oriented, and able to break down barriers and obstacles.
  • Ability to influence diverse groups and individuals to deliver high-quality, timely results.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Understanding of Markets Trading and Sales and the end-to-end product life cycle.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and influencing skills.
  • Knowledge or background in Operational, Market, Credit, or in-business risk.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure in a demanding environment.
