Ready to shape how a global financial institution runs its Finance function? This is your opportunity to lead complex, high-visibility programs from requirements through implementation, working shoulder-to-shoulder with Finance, Technology, and Operations leaders. You'll turn ambiguity into clear specifications, drive delivery end-to-end, and see your work directly improve accuracy, controls, and efficiency across the firm. If you thrive in a fast-moving, matrixed environment and enjoy solving problems that matter, we'd like to hear from you.

Job summary
As a Finance and Business Management Project Analyst in Finance within the Corporate & Investment Bank, you will support a portfolio of initiatives—from multi-year programs such as strategic system replacements, new product launches, and branch buildouts, to ongoing process improvements. You will partner with Finance subject matter experts, technology teams, and program stakeholders to help translate business needs into clear requirements, support testing and implementation activities, and contribute to accurate, timely delivery of solutions for end users.

The team’s objectives you will support are to:

  • Capture and translate Finance requirements by partnering with Finance subject matter experts to help document functional requirements and communicate needs to technology teams.
  • Build cross-functional partnerships with the core project team, regional and corporate finance, operations, technology partners, and business clients.
  • Support end-to-end delivery across analysis, testing, and implementation to help ensure solutions are accurate and delivered on time.

Job responsibilities

  • Requirements & analysis: Support requirements gathering with Finance SMEs; document business requirements and translate into functional requirements and process/operating model artifacts under guidance; assist with reference data migration requirements and setup of legal entities/product feeds into the target Finance environment.
  • Testing & implementation: Support test preparation and execution (scripts, data, traceability); coordinate UAT activities and defect tracking/triage; contribute to cutover readiness checklists and validation.
  • Program governance & delivery support: Track actions, milestones, dependencies, and RAID items; prepare meeting materials and status inputs; maintain project documentation in the repository; support training and change communications as needed.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Foundational understanding of Finance functions and end-to-end processes, and interest in how Finance requirements translate into technology/platform outcomes.
  • Working knowledge (or strong willingness to learn) the regional Finance operating model and key process flows, including governance and stakeholder touchpoints.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform core business analysis tasks: gathering requirements, documenting needs, process analysis, and producing clear deliverables with attention to detail.
  • Experience supporting project lifecycle activities (or strong transferable skills), including planning support, RAID tracking, meeting cadence, and status updates.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to build relationships across Finance, Operations, and Technology in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including producing concise meeting notes, action logs, and status inputs.
  • Control-minded approach: ability to identify, document, and escalate risks/issues; attention to accuracy, completeness, and governance expectations.
  • Exposure to or interest in testing/UAT support, including defect tracking and readiness coordination.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Accounting, Finance, Business, or Project Management qualification (or progress toward one).
  • Awareness of line-of-business systems and data flows that feed Finance (e.g., iDDA, Cash Management), and interest in upstream/downstream impacts.
  • Data and systems literacy, including understanding of data flows, reference data concepts, reconciliations, and strong Excel skills; basic SQL is a plus.
  • Prior internship or entry-level experience supporting delivery, change management, training support, or operational readiness in a regulated environment.
