J.P. Morgan Asset Management is committed to providing exceptional service to our clients and business partners. Our Sales and Client Service teams, together with Investment, Product and other specialist partners, leverage the capabilities of the global firm to deliver an integrated client experience and meet clients' investment and servicing needs.

Within EMEA Client Service, this role has a specific focus on our insurance client base, providing dedicated coverage that recognises the distinct investment structures, operating models and servicing requirements of insurance clients.

The Client Account Management team serves as the guardian of the client experience for J.P. Morgan Asset Management. Client Account Managers (CAMs) are responsible for building strong client relationships and delivering a consistently high standard of service throughout the client lifecycle.

This Vice President role has a dedicated focus on EMEA insurance clients. The Client Account Manager (CAM) owns the service relationship for a portfolio of clients, developing a deep understanding of their business, operating models, investment arrangements, governance and distinct servicing requirements. The role goes beyond coordinating day-to-day activity: the CAM anticipates needs, exercises sound judgement, identifies risks and opportunities, influences outcomes and continually improves the client experience.

The successful candidate will develop a strong understanding of the distinct and evolving needs of insurance clients, including their operating models and servicing requirements, and will champion those needs across the wider organisation.

Working in close partnership with Client Advisors, Investment and Product Specialists and colleagues across the broader firm, the CAM will form part of an integrated client team focused on delivering an exceptional client experience. This requires strong relationship management, commercial awareness, effective governance and a robust risk and controls mindset.

Most importantly, we believe in doing 'first class business in a first-class way'. The successful candidate will share our commitment to creating an exceptional client experience while managing our business in an ethical and compliant way.

Job Responsibilities

  • Act as a key day-to-day service contact for a portfolio of EMEA insurance clients, developing strong and trusted relationships with clients and their key stakeholders.

  • Develop a detailed understanding of each client's business, operating model, investment arrangements and servicing requirements, ensuring these are understood and appropriately supported across the firm.

  • Deliver a consistently high-quality client experience throughout the full client lifecycle, from onboarding and implementation through ongoing servicing, change activity and, where applicable, offboarding.

  • Partner closely with Client Advisors, Investment and Product Specialists to form an integrated client team, ensuring servicing considerations are embedded within the broader management of each client relationship.

  • Coordinate effectively across Operations, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Product and other relevant functions to develop solutions that meet client needs while operating within the firm's risk and control framework.

  • Take ownership of complex client issues, coordinating across relevant teams to ensure issues are investigated, appropriately escalated and driven through to resolution with minimum impact to the client and the business.

  • Proactively identify emerging client requirements, servicing risks and opportunities to enhance the client experience, working across the organisation to drive appropriate action and resolution.

  • Support and coordinate new client onboarding and material client change activity, including documentation, KYC, operational implementation and communication with clients and relevant third parties.

  • Ensure client-impacting regulatory and business changes are understood, appropriately communicated to clients and escalated or documented internally as required.

  • Manage ongoing servicing requirements, including client queries, coordination of cash flows, maintenance of client records and follow-up on outstanding invoices.

  • Anticipate client needs and identify emerging risks, dependencies and opportunities using relationship knowledge, client feedback, service information and relevant business or regulatory developments.

  • Lead client service and onboarding reviews, translating feedback and evidence into prioritised actions with clear ownership and follow-through.

  • Take end-to-end ownership of complex client issues, ensuring timely investigation, transparent communication, appropriate escalation, root-cause understanding and sustainable resolution.

  • Exercise independent judgement and constructive challenge to protect the client experience, control environment and long-term relationship; communicate proactively when issues or change may affect the client.

  • Promote the firm's digital servicing and self-service capabilities, supporting client adoption and helping to create a scalable and effective servicing model.

  • Represent the requirements and perspectives of EMEA insurance clients in relevant business, technology, operational and regulatory change initiatives.

  • Build strong partnerships across the regional and global Client Service organisation, sharing knowledge and contributing to the continued development of the broader Client Account Management proposition.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Demonstrable experience within institutional asset management, insurance asset management or financial services client servicing, with an understanding of the requirements of sophisticated institutional clients.

  • Experience servicing insurance clients, or demonstrable knowledge of the insurance client segment, would be highly advantageous.

  • Proven ability to own complex client relationships or service outcomes and to anticipate needs, manage dependencies and drive end-to-end resolution.

  • Strong relationship-management, communication, negotiation and influencing skills, with credibility across clients and senior internal stakeholders.

  • Ability to understand complex client structures and requirements and translate these into effective servicing solutions across multiple internal stakeholders.

  • A strong risk and controls mindset, with sound judgement regarding issue identification, ownership, escalation and resolution.

  • Ability to use service information, client feedback and relationship context to generate insight and priorities; proactive, curious and improvement oriented.

  • Confidence using digital tools, data and technology to enhance the client experience and support scalable servicing.

  • Strong organisation and prioritisation, ability to work independently and collaboratively across functions and regions, and commitment to sharing knowledge and coaching colleagues.

  • Fluency in written and spoken English; proficiency in Microsoft Office.
