Background:
The EMEA Client Service team are responsible for the servicing of our EMEA Institutional clients invested across all JPMAM products (pooled and alternative funds, segregated mandates, and various vehicles). The team is centrally located in London but also has team members located across Europe including in Frankfurt and Luxembourg.
The CAM AML team where this role is located, supports institutional clients and intermediaries’ onboarding, maintenance of existing relationships, related Anti-Money Laundering and KYC processes and works closely with the Client Account Management (CAM) team, Client Advisors, funds service team and other internal stakeholders, as well as global counterparts. The team are also responsible for further operational controls.
The role provides an excellent opportunity to develop expertise working with a variety of departments across the business.
The Role:
Associate
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing onboardings & refreshes for institutional clients and intermediaries from KYC & KYD perspective
- Oversight, collaboration and training, where required, of the off-shore support team
- Review and escalation of Sanctions, PEPs and negative media screening results in line with policies and procedures
- Working closely with Client Account Managers and Client Advisors on due diligence documentation requests and with the counterparts Globally on shared clients’ records
- Partnering with Compliance and the business on escalations resolutions
- Ownership and timely closure of AML/KYC queries
- Participating in setting KYC system enhancements and their testing prior to implementation
- Production of weekly/monthly AML/KYC management reports and metrics
- Supporting AML/KYC business initiatives
