Opportunity

The opportunity is to join the Credit Exotics & Structured Trading Desk in London. Our Global Credit Trading business is a global leading market maker in bonds, credit derivatives, exotic products and solutions. Traders, salespeople, structuring and research teams work collectively to generate ideas and provide markets to clients.

The Credit Exotics & Structured business is responsible for driving, executing and risk managing non-flow, structured products and solutions within the credit asset class. It deals with a broad set of clients across emerging and developed markets including banks, distributors, insurance companies, corporates, asset managers and hedge funds seeking yield enhancement, hedging or access solutions in standardized or highly customized format. It deals with both asset and liability side solutions.

The business is global with a team presence in New York, London and Hong Kong.

Key responsibilities

  • Pricing, execution and risk management of Credit Exotics & Structured products;
  • Business development and origination of new transactions within that space;
  • Generation of well-thought relevant, topical investments and trade ideas;
  • Active engagement with sales and clients to provide content, solutions tailored to client needs;
  • Driving the agenda for the development of innovative products and solutions.

Requirements

  • Previous credit or fixed income experience is required;
  • Excellent analytical skills;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Entrepreneurial mindset.
