Legal & Regulatory Change Management (LRCM) Analyst - Chase UK

Position Summary

Working within the Controls Team the LRCM Analyst manages legal and regulatory change events impacting the International Consumer Business to deliver compliant change.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyse regulatory developments to determine applicability to the business, taking in to account territory and legal entity status.
  • Support business areas by advising upon any legal obligation impact arising from a proposed change, new feature or product launch.
  • Interpret the legal requirements of any given regulatory change & advise the business on requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Partner with the Compliance team to assess the business areas proposed actions to meet the change and advise on appropriateness.
  • Support Control Management in monitoring change requests covering the creation or revision of operational artifacts such as policies, procedures, and guidelines which demonstrate compliance with legal obligations.
  • Manage the LRCM process and facilitate monthly meetings to ensure that the business areas are aware of any relevant regulatory developments, tracking actions & delivery where applicabale.
  • Support monthly reporting for ICB Governance Forums
  • Partner with the business & project teams to ensure procedure and guideline updates are prioritized appropriately and actioned in line with SLAs
  • Legal Inventory maintenance within Jira.
  • ELA maintenance and obligation mapping.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Demonstrable experience of working within a legal environment is desirable.
  • Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills. Solid critical thinking and analysis of regulatory change scenarios, attention to detail and able to synthesize large amounts of data and formulate creative and innovative solutions.
  • Stakeholder management and networking – interpersonal skills; exceptional collaboration, openness and relationship building skills.
  • Communication/presentation - excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to confidently advise business leaders in a succinct and meaningful manner.
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Jira and the Enterprise Library Application (ELA)
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize effectively based on business needs
