The Switch is a JP Morgan Apprenticeship targeted at individuals in existing employment who desire to transition to a career in Financial Services. It compliments JP Morgan’s existing programs and offers an alternative route into the banking for those who have previously been unable to apply. Individuals can earn industry-recognized certifications while working in our business alongside industry experts.
This apprenticeship program is based in our Bournemouth office, and offers a comprehensive introduction to the world of financial services. You’ll develop your professional network, hear from senior leaders and learn from the best in the business. You’ll join one of our operations teams and contribute to our business while you study. Dedicated professionals will guide your classwork while our business experts will help you gain new skills on the job. Besides classroom training, you’ll have a network of peers and our employee assistance program to help you navigate the firm and to support you as you pursue your certifications and career.
You will have a dedicated training day each week where you will receive a combination of online and in-person lectures working towards the industry-recognized CISI Investment Operations Certificate and a Level 4 Investment Operations Specialist Apprenticeship initially, followed by the opportunity to progress to the CISI Diploma in Investment Operations and a Level 6 Financial Services Professional Apprenticeship. Upon completing a final piece of non-apprenticeship coursework you will then be awarded a full honours degree in Applied Finance from our Russell Group training provider University of Exeter.

Qualifications
We are looking for highly motivated professionals who have a passion for financial services and strong interest in working for JP Morgan, have the drive to learn new skills and the flexibility to take on different tasks.
To qualify for the programme, applicants must also have previous professional experience in any type of industry (at least several years), the UCAS equivalence of 3 C grades at A-Level or other qualification with no grade below C.
