J.P. Morgan Private Bank is looking for a former tech entrepreneur to join the Tech Disruptors Vertical, based in London. The Tech Disruptors Vertical is a new exciting initiative within J.P. Morgan International Private Bank. This was formed as a Founder-to-Founder ecosystem, and a bespoke offering connecting tech leaders with J.P. Morgan’s network. As prospector in the Tech Disruptors Vertical, you will be the expert with tech-specific market knowledge who helps the Private Bank get access to and engage with upcoming entrepreneurs in the technology industry (“disruptors”). Within this role, you will engage with entrepreneurs and intermediaries in the industry and create a link with J.P. Morgan Private Bank. You will act as the link between the broader external tech market and the bank, ensuring that any interested parties are introduced to a well-aligned local banker.
Responsibilities
- Develop and hone relationships with tech entrepreneurs who are not current prospects of the Private Bank
- Help deepen existing relationships with current prospects/clients covered by the Private Bank mainly having conversations on personal experience as entrepreneur and on tech global market trends
- Develop an access strategy to tech disruptors, working on a series of thematic events and networking opportunities, leveraging on personal acquaintances
- Map & identify target names of upcoming companies / founders active in this hyper-growth sector using accredited databases
- Coordinate activity across different markets and interaction with internal teams of the Private Bank
- Act as a SME and guide on tech community engagement for internal teams
Qualifications
- Being a former tech entrepreneur is compulsory
- Based in London
- Preferable international background
- Availability to travel often during weekdays
- Excellent communication skills across various stakeholders and senior management
- Excellent analytical and logical thinking to understand and analyse complex business processes
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to hold conversations on the tech field knowing key players and dynamics
- Ability to analyse and resolve project-related issues and follow through with set objectives
- Ability to work in a high paced environment, be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organise and prioritise work
- Be a team player who shows commitment and dedication, and can maintain a positive attitude and high-level of performance on high-profile/time-sensitive initiatives
