CB Global Liquidity Solutions Summary
The International Liquidity Solutioning role based in the UK will be a visible senior member of the Commercial Banking (CB) Global Liquidity Solutions (GLS) team, including extensive engagement with Treasury Services sales, banking and management teams across the CB on product solutions for key client relationships. The primary duty of this role and the team is to drive strategic sales & solutioning for the global complex liquidity & account solutions product suite, including international cash concentration, notional pooling structures, Virtual Account Management (VAM) and related client visibility & digital reporting channels. Most of the clients supported in this role are EMEA based companies with a either a regional or multi-national footprint and global structuring needs.
The successful candidate will have strong experience as a Product Solutions Specialist, a liquidity or treasury services product manager or as a treasury services salesperson with leadership responsibilities, as well as experience managing a team in these areas. This team lead will need to collaborate effectively with partners across functional disciplines, product groups, regions, and lines of business, as well as senior management. Experience with global account structuring, complex liquidity solutions and/or virtual account solutions will be a significant benefit.

The GLS team is responsible for management of CB’s global deposit portfolio, while delivering all liquidity, account solutions (physical and virtual), and investment products & solutions for CB clients. The GLS team is comprised of various Product Delivery and Product Solutions teams in both the US and international locations.
Job Description
The International Complex Liquidity Solutioning role, based in the UK, will have a wide scope of work involving commercialization and adoption of product solutions, direct client solutioning, aiding the sales process, deal life cycle management, as well as ongoing internal stakeholder engagement across this product set.
The complex liquidity product suite is comprised of an array of solutions to help clients improve their visibility & control over global liquidity, while optimizing their positions and creating efficiencies. These solutions include:
Advising on global account structuring strategies across all banking partners
Physical cash concentration solutions such as single-location, cross-border, cross-currency, and multi-bank sweeps Notional Pooling structures
Just-in-time funding and integrated solutions to support payment needs
Virtual Solutions including Virtual Account Management (VAM), Virtual Reference Number (VRN) and J.P. Morgan WalletTM Client connectivity and visualization channels
New emerging technologies that better enable our products, such as API’s and collaboration with FinTech partners
Most of the clients supported in this role are EMEA based corporates with a multi-national footprint and global structuring needs. Complex liquidity, account structuring and Virtual Solutions are often part of a broader client solution involving wholesale payments products, new emerging technology, and treasury transformation initiatives such as clients developing “in-house bank” solutions.
As a part of the broader Global Liquidity Solutions team, maintaining a close connection to other product areas and a desire to learn and grow for yourself and the team is critical to success.
Additionally VAM is a key emerging priority product focus that has been gaining prominence in the banking industry as our clients strive for rationalized account structures, ease of reconciliation and centralized transaction processing on top of their principal standardization and simplification objectives. J.P. Morgan has invested in our in-house global Virtual Solutions product suite that will help clients achieve these objectives. Virtual Solutions will be pursued for key client relationships, involving both internal engagement, as well as direct client engagement & sales activities on a regular basis.
Responsibilities
Serve as a senior resource based in the UK for global complex liquidity product deals
Maintain consistent dialogue with international senior management on the complex liquidity product set
Lead and drive effective global client engagements to solution and execute on our suite of global complex liquidity products. Engage with CB sales & banking partners to build and manage a robust product pipeline across mostly complex liquidity and VAM
Conduct internal deep dive training sessions within CB on our suite of solutions
Understand and synthesize client requirements to bring feedback to our product development partners
Maintain close partnership and collaboration as a senior leader within the CB GLS team, including various US PSS teams, International Solutioning teams, Product Delivery and Analytics teams
Close collaboration with product partners in Liquidity, Account Services, Wholesale Payments and Digital Closely manage a team of currently 3 employees focused on the same initiatives above
Qualifications
10-20 years experience in treasury services and/or liquidity products Experience managing a team
Preference for extensive knowledge and experience in positioning complex liquidity products or virtual solutions, as well as POBO/ROBO and other in-house bank solutions
Experience working with a global or international team
Played an advisory or sales role supporting clients directly, with an inquisitive nature and interest in further building technical product expertise
Passion for learning new products, technologies and emerging industry themes
Proven ability to develop relationships with internal/external stakeholders, build rapport with senior management, and effectively execute initiatives
Exceptional presentation and communication skills Strong business, financial and analytical acumen Bachelor’s Degree required
Master’s Degree or other advanced certification is a benefit
