Product Strategy EMEA
The Product Strategy EMEA group sits within the Global Product Strategy and Development team, which is responsible for shaping and positioning the suite of products at J.P. Morgan Asset Management. The team provides comprehensive research, analytics, thought leadership and competitive differentiation of the firm’s investment capabilities.
The Project Strategy team’s objectives include:
- Driving and supporting JPMAM’s strategic agenda by providing timely competitive intelligence on flows, asset growth, product trends and performance analytics
- Partnering across all investment desks to develop clear value propositions and product positioning for client portfolios
- Partnering across all EMEA sales teams and clients via Portfolio Insights Analytics, a tool which helps our clients make more informed investment decisions across their portfolios
Position Overview
The Product Strategy Vice President will be responsible for partnering with other members of the Product Strategy EMEA Team and key partners in Asset Management. Key aspects of the role will include product positioning, competitive analysis, new product development and interacting with teams across all asset classes and sales channels to most effectively position JPM products.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Support key deliverables including regular competitive reporting, training calls, bespoke competitive analyses for clients, and other strategic initiatives
- Prepare data for analyses of products and industry trends
- Coordinating globally across product strategy and development across key initiatives
- Developing a proficiency in the JPM product range, competitor products, and industry trends
- Partnering with the product development team and the sustainable investing team to help drive new products and sustainable investing initiatives
Qualifications
Strong analytical, communication, project management and cross-organization collaboration skills required
- Strong work ethic / team player who is intellectually curious and recognizes when to ask for assistance
- Project management skills and ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Ability to partner across channels, regions, and products to execute in timely matter using broad resources of global team
- Aptitude with industry standard databases (e.g. Morningstar, eVestment, Mercer, Broadridge, MSCI ESG Manager)
- Strong knowledge of sustainable investing a plus
- CFA a plus
- European language skills a plus
