As a Global Mobility Advisor directly supporting the EMEA Global Mobility Regional Lead within the Global Mobility Centre of Excellence, you will be responsible for delivering a best in class simplified, personalized and digitized employee experience through superior service and operational excellence. This includes, but is not limited to, providing direct support to the Regional Lead on all HR and Senior level assignments and transfers, advisory support on matters related to Global Assignments, including Permanent Transfers and Domestic moves, within the region through benefit provision, advisory, and assignment/relocation coordination for managers and employees who utilize our services. You will be required to adhere to established processes and guidelines in support of Global Mobility clients and partners, including managers, employees, and HR teams. As part of your daily duties you will interact with employees at various levels on a range of topics and/or issues (complex, sensitive, routine, etc.) requiring attention to detail, empathy, ability to troubleshoot, taking ownership and accuracy of work while maintaining a high quality standard and ensuring data integrity. You will be accountable for providing a seamless, end to end positive experience with every interaction.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Advisory Support: primary point of contact for inquiries from HR Advisor Community, Recruiting, business managers and relocating employees for expatriate assignments, permanent transfers and domestic relocations within the EMEA region. This includes providing advisory services to expedite policy decisions, resolution of outstanding concerns, and end-to-end handling of employee relocations.
- Employee Briefings: Conduct employee briefings on package offerings, program and process including, but not limited to, an overview of domestic relocation and international assignments (expatriate compensation, expatriate payroll, benefits, tax, vendor services) and other components.
- Move Coordination: initiation of move-related services, expense reimbursement and vendor payments (where applicable) through partnership and utilization of the GES Operations Team for all transactional activities.
- HR Partner Teams Coordination: coordination with Global Mobility Center of Excellence immigration teams/services, the Expatriate Tax Team/vendor and the Expatriate Payroll Teams as well as with HR Partners like HR Advisors, Immigration Legal, and LOB Compensation Teams to ensure appropriate set up of assignments in the APRO system. Escalate to EMEA Global Mobility Reginal Lead as needed.
- Follow all established processes, policies, company guidelines and regulations.
- Complete HR-related transactions/activities adhering to company policy and guidelines.
- Meeting service level, quality and productivity metrics.
Qualifications:
- Preferred experience in Global Mobility function
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Highly motivated and excellent communicator with ability to speak clearly and confidently at all levels
- Strong project management skills, organizational skills, attention to detail
- Strong MS application skills
- Broad knowledge of HR policies and processes and their effects on expatriate management
- An understanding of international compensation, payroll and tax, expatriate benefits and domestic relocation
- Experience with risk analysis, control processes, process mitigation and reporting as relates to the expatriate process is a plus
- Experience working with remote teams or cross functional teams in a partnership is a plus
- Must be able to work flexible business hours Monday through Friday, after-hours and weekends, as needed to successfully perform the role
