The Global Credit Production Management Team at JPMorgan Chase is responsible for supporting proprietary technology platforms powering the Credit Trading business along with its user base of traders and sales personnel. The team supports front-to-back business functions, including client connectivity, eTrading, pricing and analytics, algo trading, risk management, post trade and regulatory reporting.
This new role will head up the global Credit eTrading support team, reporting into the global head of Credit & Public Finance Production Management. This global team of ~25 staff provides realtime operational L1/L2 support for a wide variety of applications and flows, including algo trading, high-touch trading, realtime risk and ETF/portfolio trading for both corporate bonds and credit derivative products. Whilst JPMorgan is recognized as the world’s leading Credit Trading franchise, it remains a significant growth area within the firm, and the technology stack is undergoing significant investment and transformation.
This is an extremely exciting opportunity to join a high performing global team, with staff based in trading floor locations (New York, London, Paris, Hong Kong & Singapore), as well as teams in Mumbai and Buenos Aires. The role will have responsibility across these regional teams to drive improvement in the teams standards and processes globally, as well as partnering with colleagues in eTrading Development to define and drive the future state architecture and strategy. The successful candidate will be joining a team that is growing significantly and will have significant opportunities to work with senior Trading & Technology stakeholders on high-profile systems, and work on a wide variety of technologies, including new platforms being developed in Kubernetes & on AWS.
Technologists at JPMorgan are hands-on problem solvers. This role will require developing and executing a strategy for the team, but this will be informed through being hands-on involved in troubleshooting major outages, dealing with escalations, and personally leading improvement initiatives.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
- BSc/BA degree or equivalent experience
- Previous experience working on a front-office aligned eTrading support team is essential
- Experience of Credit/Fixed Income specifically however is not required, candidate with experience of Equities/FX etc. are welcomed

- Enthusiastic, self-motivated and inquisitive. Able to demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and personal accountability.
- Proven expertise in application development and support environment with more than one technology and multiple design techniques

The role’s technical requirements are as follows:
- Working knowledge in one or more general purpose programming languages, plus an interest in learning other coding languages – previous experience of Python would be an advantage
- Working knowledge of development toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software
- Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
- Working knowledge of LINUX/UNIX operating systems
- Working knowledge of scheduling tools (Autosys, Control M)
- Basic Cloud knowledge would be an advantage (AWS or Kubernetes)
- Experience with database technologies, i.e., ability to develop and execute SQL queries
- Experience or knowledge of working in a DevOps / SRE model would be an advantage
- Knowledge of development tools (Jenkins, Git, BitBucket)
