EMEA Program Manager (Associate) – Finance & Business Management Analyst & Apprentice Program
The goal of the F&BM Analyst & Apprentice Program is to attract, develop, and retain a diverse pipeline of junior talent who can efficiently and effectively deliver results to the Finance & Business Management functions across lines of business and corporate areas at JPMorgan Chase. The Program supports entry-level talent in building key professional, leadership and business competency skills through challenging roles, career management guidance, structured training and development and ongoing performance management. The Program exists in two locations in the UK and one location in Poland, with approximately 130 Analysts and Apprentices across the classes.
Key Programs:
- Full-time Program - an entry level program that provides training and development within F&BM and is a pipeline for entry level F&BM talent
- Apprentice Program – an entry level program that provides training and development within F&BM and is a pipeline for entry level F&BM talent
- Help assist Campus recruitment team with the F&BM Internship Program – 9 week summer program which serves as the primary pipeline for full time program hiring
Job Function and Responsibilities
The Program Manager - Associate role is critical to the success of the Programs. The Program Manager - Associate plays a variety of roles within the Program including supporting Analysts, Apprentices and Summer Interns, developing and managing key F&BM relationships, and participating in the overall Program strategy and execution. The Program Manager - Associate has high visibility with F&BM managers from across the firm and has the opportunity to work with internal and external partners.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Analyst & Apprentice Engagement
- Manage core Analyst processes including: rotations, L&D, end of program mobility and performance management
- Manage core Apprentice processes including: AAT qualification, L&D, end of program mobility and performance management
- Planning and execution of the training and development agenda
- Provide 1x1 coaching as requested by the Analysts/Apprentices
- Provide Analysts, Managers, HRBPs and key stakeholders with ongoing program updates
- In partnership with HRBPs and Analyst Managers, “project manage” any performance issues and see through to conclusion
Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain relationships with Analysts, Analysts Managers and Steering Committee (Junior Resource Council).
- Work with key stakeholders for the placement process of interns and Analysts to roles
- Work with key stakeholders to execute the yearly rotation process
- Work with external vendors to provide additional training to Analysts; including making payments and tracking exam progress with CIMA
- Work with key stakeholders, recruiters and HRBPs to identify mobility opportunities for the Analysts post-program
Program Management
- Develop and maintain Program content (i.e. Program Overviews, Manager Kick-off decks, Steering Committee decks, etc)
- Track CIMA exam progress for all F&BM analysts and AAT exam progress for all F&BM Apprentices
- Identify Analysts, Alumni, Managers and other business reps to participate in training, speaker sessions and networking
- Plan and execute a meaningful Program curriculum, including Induction training and quarterly speaker series
- Drive the development of key reporting metrics for the Program. Ensure data is accurate and updated frequently
- Ensure processes across locations align, ensuring an excellent Analyst Program experience in each location
Recruiting
- Help assist campus recruitment with Analyst/Intern recruitment where necessary i.e. attend assessment centres and offer roundtables, analysis of recruiting stats to drive strategy, have direct involvement in the Summer Intern program
- Partner with the Early Careers team to drive the Apprentice recruitment, including initial CV screening and selection, Assessment Centres and final offer decisions
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in Finance or Human Resources
- Knowledge of the JPMC Finance organization is preferred
- Ability to develop and manage relationships across all levels of the organization
- Excellent verbal and written communications, presentation, and facilitation skills
- Strong technical skills (Excel and PitchPro+)
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize and escalate appropriately
- Direct and/or indirect people management, including providing feedback, coaching, and development planning
- Demonstrate exceptional project and process management skills
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience is required
