Business Overview & Role Description:
This role is a key contributor and team member for supporting the EMEA, as well as global, initiatives for the Cash, FX and Liquidity (CFL) business management team. The business management function partners with the Product business leads as well as works closely with Product Management, Product Development, Product Controllers, P&A, Sales, Sales Business Management, Corporate and other partners. The Associate in this role will have significant exposure to the Securities Services as well as F&BM senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Strategy and Growth
- Act as a trusted advisor and counterweight to business
- Align front office teams and support groups to business priorities
- Assist with business strategy development and ensure strategy considers market structure and regulatory changes
- Review of operational and financial reporting processes for areas of risk and improvement
- Business Performance and Planning
- Participate in in the business budget process with the business head, business management, P&A teams
- Ensure optimal resource budgeting and allocations to achieve business priorities
- Support investment / productivity initiatives across the end-to-end business to achieve multi-year targets
- Management Reporting
- Oversee, and where required, compile monthly business reviews, point person for Monthly Committee Pack monthly forum process, CFL Townhalls, other adhoc deliverables for management
- Track key performance indicators and highlight trending and considerations
- Assist with any database or trend analysis tracking integral to the business
Your Background:
- Ability to partner with business leaders, particularly as part of a global business, and work in a matrix-like environment
- Able to multi-task and prioritize work as the business management role is diverse in responsibilities and adhoc in nature
- Ideally you will have background experience in, or knowledge of the business products ie FX, liquidity/deposits,cash/payments and knowledge/familiarity of any of the systems used on the team (Scribe, Paragon, LRI, Sherlock) or a keen willingness to learn

- Commercial acumen – Ability to understand and grow the strategic business vision; focus on improving the bottom line
- Effective communicator – Ability to create logical and conclusive presentations and assist team in managing our deliverables across our many stakeholders. Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze data for trends
