Job Description

Building on the vision and structure of our Payments business, the Payments Operations organization is evolving its operating model. The newly created Operations Service Architecture team has been established to enable the drive to simplify and standardize operational services, enhance client experience and accelerate delivery of operational excellence in support of existing products and new product offerings.

This business analysis role will drive our delivery against several key focus areas including:

  • Building a catalogue of services that Payment Operations execute, and in partnership with Product and Client teams, adapt and enhance that catalogue to meet the changing needs of our clients and business stakeholders in a nimble and responsive way
  • Performing a single function to “design” payments operations solutions for all product/client requirements
  • Owning pipeline management on behalf of Payments Operations
  • Decision maker on behalf of operations for all new product/client capabilities
  • Partnering with Payment Operations Execution / Platform Transformation & Change to pivot to operational service model

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a strong Global network to understand the needs of, and support, all key senior stakeholders across Sales, Product, Technology and other Internal Operations Partners
  • Maintaining a strong risk and controls environment that will protect the firm and employees
  • Support the implementation of complex programs, corporate control initiatives and process improvement projects
  • Build transparency on key project activities, performing data collection and analytics, including trend and impact analysis, document processes and observations, formulation of results, and draw conclusions integrating key controls when warranted
  • Support best practice standards for project management tools and processes that can be leveraged across the organization
  • Work with business partners to design and implement enhancements to existing processes and/or business applications, introduce new processes and/or toolsets, and engage in process re-engineering
  • Help enable a great and inclusive culture, enhance our employee engagement, and attract, develop, and retain the best, most diverse talent
  • Develop policies, procedures, performance objectives and standards that are aligned to meet all regulatory and controls standards

Work Environment

  • Position requires heavy interaction with the Controls Team, Servicing teams, Product teams, Technology teams, and other support function teams to ensure a strong business flow across multiple functions and multiple products

Qualifications

  • Cash Operations or Global Operations experience dealing with large scale operations and change/transformation agendas
  • Functional knowledge, process analysis design, and output
  • Strategic thinker that combines strong technical skills and creative problem solving
  • Demonstrated communication and diplomacy skills to work cross-organizationally to influence others, drive results/change and implement projects/processes
  • Global experience in payments is desirable
  • Knowledge and experience of compliance, certification and regulatory aspects of payments in global markets
