J.P. Morgan Market Asset Services (MAS) supports all Asset Servicing activities, including Corporate Actions, Income Processing, Dividend Re-investments, Global Proxy and Class Actions with emphasis on risk management, efficiency and client service. MAS is a global team operating in 9 cities supporting Markets and Wealth Management.
MAS is in a period of heightened transformation, involving increased investment in technology and operations to ensure that the department can scale in line with business growth, provide robust controls and deliver enhanced client service.
The Role:
As the Lead of MAS Risk & Control Management, you will play an integral role in defining and executing on the risk agenda and control framework across the organization while driving continued evolution of a more advanced risk and control approach. The role will partner with Operations, Technology, and Business Leadership to drive deliberate cross pollination, lessons learned and control initiatives to drive risk reduction and maintain a strong control environment by providing a framework that includes governance, risks identification, risk mitigation, risk transformation and risk reporting with business intelligence.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and/or enhance the current risk framework across MAS
- Define and/or enhance the operating model and governance for risk review/management within MAS
- Define and manage key risk indicator reporting and governance
- Represent MAS at control meetings and risk forums acting as delegate for the Head of Markets Asset Services
- Coordinate all DHC, EE, EFL reviews and agree mitigation plan
- Manage all audit requests and action plan
- Responsible for Business Resiliency Planning and Management
- Support New Business Initiatives, ensuring current infrastructure can support new business with proper controls
- Regulatory and Industry Lead for Markets Asset Services
