Within CIB Operations, the Markets Operations Platform Transformation team is responsible for the end to end planning and delivery of products, platforms and strategies enabling the organization to better serve our clients while increasing efficiency. On the PMO & Strategy you will support leadership and senior stakeholders to design and deliver a best-in-class architecture and operating model strategy, as well as enable the implementation of initiatives from early pilots to scaling transformation across the organization in collaboration with a diverse set of stakeholders.

Primary responsibilities for this role include:
We are seeking an experienced Associate to help lead and grow the Portfolio Intelligence pillar within our PMO & Strategy team. The position represents an excellent opportunity for qualified candidates to:
- Leverage the automation / innovation tools (Alteryx, Tableau, Signavio etc) to build and maintain custom portfolio level reporting and improve portfolio intelligence
- Manage communication of status updates to stakeholders and senior management through scorecards, tracking of milestones, critical path and the development of digital reporting tools using Tableau and Alteryx.
- Build and maintain working relationships with stakeholders in the different businesses our team supports (e.g., Markets, Securities Services) and functions (e.g. Finance, Product, Business Management, Operations, Technology, etc.).
- Provide business and data analysis to large, cross line of business initiatives; analyzing and documenting key business discussions and requirements, managing timelines, risks, issues, and dependencies tracking action items and other project related materials.
- Serve as “air traffic controller” on critical issues and act as key facilitator to ensure necessary decisions are made in a timely manner. Leverage appropriate SMEs and initiative owners to scale governance and program reporting processes.
- Coordinate working group meetings, steering group meetings - setting the agenda, preparing meeting materials using PowerPoint / Pitch-pro, documenting minutes in a timely manner and ensuring clear ownership of action items.
Qualifications:
- Strategic thinker who can quickly develop understanding and support of the goals and direction of the firm
- Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
- Strong presentation and communication skills – can advise and influence with confidence across all levels of the organization.
- Proficient in Alteryx and Tableau (relevant certifications preferred) with knowledge of other accelerator solutions in order to independently design, implement and maintain assets.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office tooling with experience using PowerPoint, Word, Excel and SharePoint.
- Must have demonstrable stakeholder engagement experience including organizing and managing disparate cross-functional / work stream teams.
- Ability to manage the complexities of multiple big project/programs - managing direct and indirect reports, third parties & key stakeholders
- Can operate effectively in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines, and can prioritize one’s own work to achieve them
- Experienced in consulting with project stakeholders, including the skills to facilitate compromises and resolve conflicting requirements. Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills, a client service philosophy, and the ability to build and foster internal relationships
- Understanding of, and ability to implement program governance control framework for a significantly sized portfolio.
