The ReEntry Program is a 15-week fellowship program, beginning March 20, 2022 and ending June 30, 2023, with the prospect of an offer for permanent employment with JP Morgan Chase at the end of the program. The program offers a reintroduction to corporate life for those returning to the workplace after two or more years of voluntarily being away.

Compliance, Conduct & Operational Risk Chief Data Office (CCOR CDO) is responsible for the management of CCOR’s data, performing the CCOR CDO’s responsibilities which include daily data quality management oversight (run by our BAU teams) alongside the oversight and governance of the Firmwide Data Risk Management (DRM) Policy and Standard. Additionally, CCOR CDO is responsible for various projects/initiatives relating to implementation of the DRM Policy and Standard requirements, such as remediation of non-compliant applications, standing-up new operating models and driving operational efficiencies and controls for the CCOR organization. CCOR CDO is a leader in the implementation of Data Owners across the wider Risk Management and Compliance CDO group (RM&C CDO). As a CDO, we are accountable for all data consumed and produced within CCOR across all data stores.
Key Responsibilities: Responsibilities include monthly governance meetings, controls reviews, maintenance and management of annual certifications, data use, data landscape and the change management framework.
As a successful candidate, you will have the opportunity to participate in such processes as:
- Implementation and evergreening of the DRM Standard, supporting expansion across all CCOR data stores.
- Participate and influence in weekly Data Risk Working Groups to prioritize and lead implementation of the new DRM Policy and Standard.
- Design and own activities that give assurances to RM&C and Firmwide CDOs that policy requirements are being met.
- Provide senior support and partnership to Controls Management with respect to Data Risks and their governance.
- Partner closely with Data Owner, Data Owner Delegates and Supporting Teams for Data Risk identification and management.
- Partner with the CCOR CDO Management Team and RM&C CDO leads in defining and delivering a best in-class data strategy.
- Drive periodic book of work reviews to ensure the CCOR CDO remains focused on priority activities.
- Providing daily support and leadership for a small BAU team.
- Act as a trusted senior partner for the Surveillance business team and provide advisory services as needed.
- Own centralised global and local Surveillance data related documentation.
- Own program metrics for Surveillance.
- Act as liaison / quality control point between Control Managers and business leads for any Audit and Regulatory requests.
Requirements:
- 2 years or more of career break
- Demonstrated experience in any Data Risk area would be advantageous, such as Data Quality, Data Protection, Data Use or Data Localization.
- Experience leading high profile programs and managing teams.
- Demonstrated ability to interact and work effectively with senior management and other senior stakeholders, including influencing at this level of seniority to support the goals of the business.
- Strong verbal, written, presentation and communication skills, including use of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong data analysis, problem-solving skills; project and program management skills.
- Effective influencing and negotiation skills with groups outside of CCOR CDO; ability to build consensus at a senior level.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
