We are looking for a dynamic and inspiring leader to further enhance, enrich and develop our team within the Client and Conference Centres.

As a General Manager in the Client and Conference Centres you will report to the London Dining Manager in a diverse, talented, and innovative food and beverage brigade. Whether we are serving customers, helping small businesses, or putting our skills to work with partners, we strive to identify issues and propose solutions that will propel the future and strengthen both our clients and our communities. The position of General Manager in the Client and Conference Centres embodies all that JP Morgan stands for all. We offer a fair salary based on a Monday to Friday work week.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead and engage the team to deliver best in class service and product
  • Maintain control of departmental accounting
  • Regularly reviewing ‘on-trend’ F&B products and services and implementing them into the department
  • Develop and manage the department along with individuals within the department
  • Play a pivotal role in formulating and implementing budgets, forecasts and project costs
  • Build and maintain excellent customer relations, seek feedback from customers and react to customer needs in a timely manner

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience of a fast paced, high standards working conference or 4/5 star hotel (or equivalent) environment
  • An exceptional ability to motivate their team, themselves, and others around them with emotionally intelligent ideas and innovations
  • Excellent organisational skills around managing teams over many floors, meeting stakeholders and clients before, during and after events, understanding proposals and budgets
  • Able to demonstrate an analytical approach to problem solving and the skills to put into operation
  • An ability to sell your own ideas, encapsulate ideas of others and take them from conception to execution
  • Strong team player with an ability to pull together multiple partners in a productive, team environment
