The Firmwide Business Resiliency Team (“FBRT”) within the Office of the CFO is responsible for ensuring the adequacy of the firm’s resiliency and determining the firm’s resiliency strategy, including setting the standards and analyzing the data necessary to articulate a risk-based view of the firm’s resiliency capabilities. FBRT works in close partnership with the Firmwide Simulation Utility (FSU) to determine guidance, procedures, governance, and oversight of business resiliency testing & exercising framework. The FBR/FSU Testing team operate collaborative forums made up of Business and Technology Resiliency teams and corporate functions to execute against the firm’s resiliency testing and exercising framework – including partnership with Control partners and 2nd line of defense functions such as Compliance and Risk.
Job responsibilities
- Gather and refine key metric and reporting to effectively monitor ongoing Testing Program
- Develop and execute KPI and KRI reporting and tracking for the Business Resiliency Testing and Exercising Framework that improves transparency and value-add for a range of constituents from plan owners through to Program-level reporting
- Engage key stakeholders to identify and prioritize new and enhanced functionality requirements in ERMA (Enterprise Resiliency Management and Analytics) to aid in delivering automation of testing metrics and reporting
- Assist with developing requirements and coordinating the story build with the system product team
- Lead the UAT (user acceptance testing) for this functionality
- Act as the liaison with the Training team to ensure relevant training materials are updated as required
- Support the FSU:
- Development and oversight of a simulation scenario library addressing severe but plausible disruptions
- Data analytics to determine existing and future threat scenarios, such as asset concentration risks, emerging threats etc.
- Perform other ad-hoc requests/projects as assigned
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Relevantexperience (knowledge of Resiliency, Operational Risk, Business Continuity, is a plus)
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel required
- Strong written and verbal communication ability
- Excellent partnership & influencing skills and the ability to be effective in a matrix environment
- Strong organizational, multitasking and prioritization skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Proven data analytics experience, amalgamating business requirements for functionality enhancements
- Experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycle, including script development/review, script execution, and defect identification
- Excellent partnership & influencing skills and the ability to be effective in a matrix environment
