The Role

We are seeking an experienced analyst to help us build and run our lending acquisitions strategies, as we strive to build best in class lending products.

Responsibilities:

  • Optimise our acquisition strategies by combining an analytical mindset with market insights
  • Champion AB testing to ensure we are continually optimising our strategies
  • Perform ad-hoc product analysis supporting the wider lending team (e.g. monthly validation of credit reference agency reporting, deep dives into funnel issues affecting click through rates)
  • Identify opportunities to enhance products and processes.
  • Build strong relationships with key partners including Credit Risk, Commercial Analytics and Fraud - essentially being the conduit between the Business, Tech and Risk.
  • Implement, test and manage strategies, scorecards and policy rules in the Decision Engine.
  • Ensure that optimal processes and procedures are in place to manage the Decision Engine changes
  • Build effective solutions to support post implementation monitoring (e.g. KRIs, Dashboards)
  • Identify, manage and mitigate risks associated with the product

Skills/ Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of how to deliver and optimise acquisition strategies (within a retail lending would be advantageous).
  • Knowledge of UK Credit Reference Agency data & CONC would be advantageous.
  • Experience in implementing Credit Risk, Affordability & Pricing Strategies, Policy Rules and Scorecards
  • Experience using at least one analytical language such as SQL, Python or R is ideal. (Experience of SAS but with an appetite to learn Python would also work well).
  • Developing ability to clearly communicate product needs and intent
  • Demonstrates ability to handle multiple priorities / deadlines without compromising quality
  • Must be capable of independent decision-making as well as able to take direction
