You will join Talent and Career Development Experience team within Corporate & Investment Bank Human Resources. The team has considerable depth of expertise, and designs and delivers programs, events and interventions of a world-class standard. It is highly-regarded by the HR partners and the businesses with whom we work.
You will sit in London and report into the New York based Head of Talent Advisory for the Global Banking and Payments Businesses.
Job Responsibilities:
As a Talent Advisor you will help create and manage a strategic, innovative, effective development agenda for the Global Banking businesses. You will:
- Consult with senior management and the businesses at differing levels, using strong relationship skills and expertise to diagnose people and organizational gaps and identify ongoing training and development needs for senior levels (VP+) within the line of business
- Implement custom people initiatives to improve culture and engagement within the line of business
- Partner with HR Business Advisors and business leaders to define, prioritize, drive and achieve strategic talent development objectives aligned to business objectives
- Create and manage a strategic people agenda for specific CIB sub-lines of business
- Design and facilitate development interventions for teams and individuals including senior level offsites
- Project manage global, cross line of business programs and processes
- Analyse, diagnose and report on individual and organizational issues based on the Employee Engagement Survey (EOS)
- Coach individuals to improve performance, using a variety of tools such as MBTI, Hogan Development Survey and Interpersonal Leadership Styles and relevant coaching techniques.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Deep organizational development knowledge and experience
- Excellent project management and planning skills
- Strong facilitation skills at all levels of the organization
- Knowledge of individual, team, manager and leader development techniques including coaching and feedback
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence stakeholders to reach a mutually agreeable solution
- Experience in designing and delivering development interventions
- Highly effective analytical skills - ability to provide clear, effective and concise reporting
