We are looking for a senior level designer who loves digging into complex problems and delivering simple, sleek, beautiful forms and interfaces. The individual will help shape the experience for Risk & Compliance stakeholders at JPMorgan Chase & Co. You will be part of the Risk Projects & Solutions team, delivering creative solutions for complex UX problems and improving existing flows. You will have experience with Figma and understanding of each stage of the design process from research to the final deliverable. You will be collaborating with other UX designers and researchers to come up with new features and enhancements for multiple products. Ultimately, you will have thorough understanding of user needs and information hierarchy.

Minimum Skills, Experience and Qualifications

We are looking for someone excited to join our organization. If you meet the minimum requirements below, you are encouraged to apply to be considered for this role

  • Drive a user-centric design approach with rapid testing and iterative prototyping for complex highly functional business solutions
  • Lead cross-functional, collaborative design thinking workshops to drive human-centered creative problem solving
  • Designing, branding, and building user interfaces that are intuitive, polished, and beautiful, partnering with other designers as well as a cross-functional team of product managers, developers, and business stakeholders
  • Direct communication to build relationships with product teams and stakeholders, understanding vision, direction, and present creative ideas and solutions.
  • Foster a collaborative design process with product owners, visual designers, researchers, and technology partners to produce deliverables.
  • Drive design direction that align with research on user needs that inform the best design solution.
  • Contributing to our design system and component library.
  • Own your solution, supporting the delivery organization with strong specifications and quality assurance and providing status and transparency to partners
  • Work closely with our Executive Content team in developing best practices
  • Work in a hybrid environment (60% office / 40% remote) taking advantage of in-office collaboration while enjoying the flexibility to work from home

What you’ll need / Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in human interaction, user experience, visual communication, or other related field.
  • Significant experience designing and delivering world-class digital experiences
  • User-centric design approach that involves rapid testing and iteration of designs
  • Exceptional skills with standard UX software such as Sketch, Invision, Adobe Creative Suite, LucidSpark, and/or Figma.
  • Experience with generative and evaluative research methods
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities on concurrent, rigorous deadlines in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Openness and desire to learn and develop with problem solving mindset.
  • Track record in leading UX to deliver user-centered products, facilitation skills to conduct collaborative and working sessions, mentoring junior designers, presenting, and visual communication skills.
  • Knowledge of service design, design systems, and agile methodologies.
  • Understanding of business intelligent technologies (Tableau, Pega, Qlik) is a plus
