You will be working within the Chief Data Officer (CDO) team that is focused on the international private bank (IPB) data strategy and support for the Digital and Data Transformation Agenda. You primary objective is to manage the identification, acquisition and delivery of quality analytics using data from strategic sources in a useful model to the analytics user community. This includes dealing with the various obligations that we have in the use of data from a legal and compliance perspective
Job Responsibilities
- Work with analysts in the Business Intelligence team and others to help identify hypotheses for testing
- Support the delivery of data driven insights by identifying the appropriate data from the best source for use in building the models for analysis
- Assist in extracting and testing that data to ensure that is fit for purpose, identifying any issues that require remediation
- Connect business users with data owners to ensure data structures, definitions and uses are comprehensively understood
- Assist business stakeholders in navigating any data usage and governance processes including Privacy considerations
- Prepare presentations and materials for stakeholder reviews, project team meetings and leadership reviews
- Manage partnerships with key stakeholders including, Operations, Technology, Business Managers and Advisors
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Ability to work well and engage with a remote team
- Knowledge and understanding of the IPB systemic architecture and data dependencies would be beneficial
- Ability to dive into details and synthetize information for executive communication
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Advanced skills with the core MS Office suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Experience of using Python, SQL or Java to build analytical tools that join multiple sets of data to perform in depth analysis
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Familiarity with extracting manipulating and visualization of complex data sets beneficial – e.g. using Alteryx, Tableau, Qlik
- Experience of foundational Data sets (Party, Account, instrument, among others)
- Experience of JP Morgan International Private Bank
