Sponsorship and Events Manager – Senior Associate

We are looking for a highly organised and seasoned sponsorship and events manager to deliver engaging, insight led sponsorship experiential activations and events that drive consumer engagement and business results. Someone who is creative, resourceful and strategic and has a deep understanding of building trusted and credible brands. They understand the role sponsorships and community impact play and have in depth knowledge of delivering disruptive activations and events. You will have a 'can do attitude' and an eye for detail with strong stakeholder management, leadership and communication skills.

This role will have the advantage of working in a highly collaborative, agile Marketing Tribe and would appeal to someone used to working with multiple stakeholders and teams such as specialist marketers, product, compliance, content, design and creative, as well as external agency partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning and delivery
    • Plan, deliver & support end to end highly engaging and disruptive experiential activations and experiences across brand, sponsorships and community impact.
    • Manage and implement JPMs internal and external marketing B2B & B2C events, including ticket inventory & management, corporate hospitality, onsite support, logistics, conferences, webinars, seminars and more.
    • Ensure all ticketing and hospitality assets are managed in a compliant manner in process with JPMs compliance policies and procedures, liaising with approval stakeholders including legal, compliance, HR and central ticketing teams
    • Brief and manage marketing collateral for events as required
    • Manage external partner ticketing and accreditation processes and polices when needed
    • Support within sponsorships & community impact, the wider marketing team, and the business with ticket and hospitality utilization and usage
  • Reporting and Measurement
    • Measure and track event success against objectives to evaluate the impact of events and contractual rights to guide future decision-making
    • Develop post event reports and presenting back to business stakeholders on results and learnings
  • Merchandise Management
    • End to end merchandise management to support business needs
    • Identify creative merchandise opportunities
    • Work with Brand and marketing teams to ensure merchandise is meeting brand guidelines
  • Agency management
    • Work with agencies from briefing to delivery to management of experiential activations
    • Manage and co-ordinate design and distribution of event collateral, including invitations, sourcing venues, sourcing and booking various entertainment, seating plans, menus when needed
  • Stakeholder management and engagement
    • To be present and co-ordinate events prior to senior management/guest arrival, ensuring communication and execution is to the required high standard and in line with the event brief
    • Develop, maintain, and promote a centralized repository of guidelines and best practices, acting as an event planning Centre of Excellence for the business to ensure consistency in approach and execution

The successful candidate will possess

  • Be proactive in resolving any issues that may arise, ensuring the success of multiple simultaneous projects
  • Work with multiple stakeholders across the firm to ensure asset utilization
  • Proactively bring forward new ideas and look for innovative solutions that help simplify processes, gather feedback and making recommendations for improvements as the role progresses
  • Ability to build solid working relationships both internally and externally

The ideal candidate for the role will have the following skills and experience

  • Previous experience in planning, organising, overseeing and project managing multiple marketing events & experiential marketing
  • Experience bringing to life large and small scales sponsorships & activations
  • Experience in working with multiple stakeholders, including senior leadership
  • Experience working within highly regulated organisations
  • Meetings and Events technology expertise - experienced in meetings management systems, event registration sites, digital event platforms, and mobile apps, such as concierge and others
